Since founding the company in 1990, Jeff has personally completed more than 14,000 inspections — a depth of hands-on experience that places him among a small fraction of inspectors nationwide.
Jeff's path to home inspection began far from Alabama. He grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where he spent his early years and finished high school, before heading east to St. Lawrence University in upstate New York. Throughout the 1980s, he worked in project management of single and multi-family housing in both Jackson Hole and Sarasota, Florida — building the deep, real-world construction knowledge that informs every inspection he performs today.
That builder's background is Jeff's edge. Because he understands how homes are actually constructed — where corners get cut, where problems hide, and how systems are meant to work — he knows exactly what to look for. That's exactly why an independent, experienced inspector matters. A Vestavia Hills resident since 1998, Jeff lives in the community he serves alongside his wife Jamie and son Mac.
